O ANO DA BESTA :: YEAR OF THE BEAST [6 Jan 2009]

Desejamos um bom ano a todos! Já foram acrescentadas alguns concertos para muito breve e outros virão, assim que estiverem os detalhes confirmados. Este ano, celebramos os 12 anos da fundação dos Theriomorphic e, a seu tempo, divulgaremos como será feita a festa!

We wish a nice year to all! A few shows happening soon have been added and more will come, as soon as the details are confirmed. This year, we celebrate 12 years since the foundation of Theriomorphic and, in due time, we will announce how the party will be done!

WE ARE THE BEAST BRIGADE, WE COME TO DOMINATE! [27 Set 2008]

It's now midnight in Portugal and THE BEAST BRIGADE is officially unleashed!

In a few hours, we'll be playing our first presentation show for the new album, along with old friends DECAYED, also presenting their new THE BLACK METAL FLAME. A week from now, we'll get on a van
with DECAYED and head north, for the second presentation show, near Porto.

To all who have been waiting, thanks for the support and hope you all like this album as much as we do.

THE BEAST CAMPAIGN - Episode I [24 Set 2008]

Faltam poucos dias para o lançamento do novo álbum dos Theriomorphic, "The Beast Brigade". Este sábado, a banda apresentará o álbum num concerto com Decayed, também a apresentarem o seu novo disco, "The Black Metal Flame". além da edição normal em CD, haverá uma versão do álbum em cassete.

O CD será editada através da Deathstar Records, um selo fundado pelo vocalista e baixista dos Theriomorphic, Jó. A distribuição será feita pela Recital Records em Portugal e também estrangeiro. Outras distribuidoras estrangeiras poderão ser reveladas nos próximos dias.

A cassete será editada pela nova editora Praise Unholy Records e terá uma capa a preto e branco.

Few days are left for the release of Theriomorphic's new album "The Beast Brigade". This saturday the band will present the album on a show with Decayed, also presenting their new record "The Black Metal Flame". Besides the normal CD edition, there will a tape version of the album.

The CD will be released through Deathstar Records, a label founded by Theriomorphic's vocalist and bassist, Jó. Distribution will be done by Recital Records in Portugal and abroad. Other distributors may be revealed in the next days.

The tape will be released by the new label Praise Unholy Records and will have a black and white cover.

Já podem ouvir dois temas do novo álbum. Não é exactamente o som que se ouvirá no CD, mas muito próximo disso:

Novo álbum :: New album [19 Jan 2008]

Os Theriomorphic terminaram o processo de gravação do segundo álbum, "The Beast Brigade". As misturas e masterização deverão estar completas até ao final do mês. Tudo isto se passará no Brugo Sound Studio, com a habilidade de Hugo Camarinha, que produziu "Enter The Mighty Theriomorphic", "Ways To End" de Bleeding Display e "Hexagram" de Decayed. Penso que temos um excelente álbum na calha.

A formação neste disco, consiste em: Jó, na voz e no baixo, no guitarrista Zé, no baterista André (ex-Shadowsphere) e no Cláudio (dos Sannedrin) com quem trabalhamos desde Maio, também na guitarra.

Tivémos alguns convidados a participar neste álbum:
- o Sid, nosso ex-guitarrista, que gravou "Enter The Mighty Theriomorphic" e contribuiu para a composição de vários dos temas deste disco, gravou leads e guitarras ritmo em 2 temas: "Dark Sky Above" e "The Necroid";
- o Hugo, nosso amigo e produtor, gravou guitarras ritmo no tema "A Final Journey" e alguns leads em "Operators of Triumph" e "Flesh Denied".
- W., de Decayed, gravou vozes em "A Final Journey", "The Necroid" e "The Beast Brigade".
- Paulo Gonçalves, de Shadowsphere, gravou vozes em "Flesh Denied", "The Necroid" e "The Beast Brigade".

Theriomorphic finished the recording process of their second album, "The Beast Brigade". Mixing and mastering should be complete until the end of the month. All this will happen at Brugo Sound Studio with the skills of Hugo Camarinha, who produced "Enter The Mighty Theriomorphic", "Ways To End" from Bleeding Display and "Hexagram" from Decayed. I think we have an excellent album up the sleeve.

The line-up on this record consists in: Jó, on the vocals and bass, guitarist Zé, drummer André (ex-Shadowsphere) and Cláudio (from Sannedrin) with whom we have benn working since May, also on the guitar.

We had some guests on the recording:
- Sid, our ex-guitarist, who recorded "Enter The Mighty Theriomorphic" and contributed for the writing of some of the songs on this album, recorded leads and rhythm guitars in 2 tracks: "Dark Sky Above" and "The Necroid";
- Hugo, our friend and producer, recorded rhythm guitar in "A Final Journey" and some leads in "Operators of Triumph" and "Flesh Denied".
- W., from Decayed, recorded vocals in "A Final Journey", "The Necroid" and "The Beast Brigade".
- Paulo Gonçalves, from Shadowsphere, recorded vocals in "Flesh Denied", "The Necroid" and "The Beast Brigade".
